tramaine suubi is a multilingual writer from kampala, and they are a graduate of the iowa writers’ workshop. they have published creative writing in over fifteen literary magazines. they are also the author of phases and stages. both books are published by amistad, an imprint of harpercollins. tramaine has received support from the tin house summer workshop and the paris writers workshop.
